it's a big change from wade's team and i'm hoping this will net more wins. dallas has a pretty tough schedule and 10 wins might be a tough call, but let's see how they start out. then need a good sept to build on. mcgee is playing well, i agree. don't know if garrett would actually make a change if romo's play is poor, but there is certainly a better chance of that happening under garrett than wade. bottom line... this team must produce or more changes on the horizon.

Dear JeffHart24,
I <3 you!!
Well...as long as the "Jeff" and the "24" don't stand for the Rainbow Warrior anyway! ;)

But just last week, there was a thread on Truth & Rumors about how Dez Bryant was doing his best to arrive at practice on time (apparently he has been late quite a few times)....Seems it DOES matter who you are

Just how frreaking hard is it to be on time to work? What the hell is wrong with some people? If your statement is true (remember it came from TNR) then RHG needs to find a button on Bryant and push the hell out of it until he can be at work on time. You appear to be correct, it DOES matter who you are. And if there is favorites then others will know it too...

JH24,
I'm trying to contain any optimism this year due to last year's severe disappointment. I hope RHG is not over-pruning the tree. We'll know by mid-october.

I completely agree...
The 1st FOUR games are huge...the Jets, while good, are an offensively strapped team...Dallas can win that game...but then games vs the 49ers, Skins and Lions all should be wins.
If Dallas emerges 3-1 during that stretch, all while the D is improving, then I can see 10 wins for sure.
Romo rarely plays poor....even last season when the team opened 1-3, it was not Romo's play that hurt them. It was penalties and poor D that killed them.

Nah....we all knew Barber was a goner...only 3.3yds per carry last season got him cut.
Roy Williams was not going to see another 9m check when he is barely worth 2m.
Leonard Davis is done and not worth 6m and Gurode, well, he could have stayed, but, he showed up over weight and someone else out played him.
I do think Dallas should have kept Columbo for a lessor amount, but we do not know if that olive branch was extended or if he would have been a backup.
Stephen Bowen was easy...the Skins paid him 5m per season while Dallas signed 2 defensive linemen for the same amount combined.
Dallas seems to be making some good cutting moves because I think Jerry knows the cap is going no where again next season and then in 2013 it is going up big time with the new TV deal...
So, in the end, when your team was 6-10, heads needed to roll and those were good moves both play and money wise.
Now, lets hope the young talent comes through.

I know it may not seem like it, but Rob Ryan is going to be great for Dallas. His schemes are really complex so it will take some time for the players to adjust to it (lockout really hurts there), but once it clicks, you're gonna love it.
