NCAAF  > Florida State Seminoles  > A Contenduh: Not yet, folks

Lotsa hype in NoleLand this year, but I think we are still a couple of years away. Jimbo is a great recruiter, and he'll win back the Flarida St. champeenship to its rightful owner in a couple of years.

EJ Manuel is certainly quick on his feet. He had to be with all the upfront deficits in the past. I think the problem now is the lack of a solid receiving corp. The offense is still a work in progress IMHO.

Defense getting better all the time, though. I think it will be a 3-loss season.

OKLAHOMA: Watch Stoopes have his annual nervous breakdown, and the Noles pull out an overtime win on September 17.

If you pick OU as a W, then who are the 3 Ls?

August 31, 2011  12:15 PM ET

That'd be y'all, Virginia, and Boston College in a late-season meltdown.

Us? and UVa? I dunno, especially UVa. That'd be one helluva meltdown. And what's BC got that worries you?

Other than perhaps VT and Clemson I don't think any L's would go FSU's way in the ACC this year. Anything less than 10-2 would be a surprise to me.

Agree with Clemson. A road game the week after a huge game like Oklahoma is always dangerous.
