NFL  > Pittsburgh Steelers  > Is Antonio Brown the Most Exciting New Player in the League?
September 6, 2011, 11:13 AM
A 70+ yard helmet catch in the first playoff game of his career .. A game ending, clutch reception to finish the Jets in the conference championship .. An 89 yard kick off return in the regular season .. 9 catches 230 yards and 3 touchdowns in the preseason.
Is Antonio Brown the most exciting new player in the NFL? If not, who do you think is?

I am going with Antonio Brown. That kid is straight up ballin. Love the kid. He is one of those jewels that Kevin Colbert and Co. seem to find . There was a lot of question as who would be that receiver to step in and take Holmes place. Well there you go ladies and gentlemen. Antonio Brown has arrived. But we also have two other toys for Ben to play with as well. Dont count out Mike Wallace or Emmanuel Sanders. All three I have a feeling will be keeping opposing D coordinators up at nights in preparing for us. Hines and Heath also will have to be accounted for. I am looking at this as not who is going to get the ball , but as how are they going to cover t hem all. Lovin My Steelers O right now.

the Bengals got that special team ball returner from the pats as pacman is on ir at the moment, but will be back after a few games,he's the only good thing that happened last year.

If the lack of kickoff returns continues in the regular season and there's no reason to think it won't, special team returns will be a big non-factor this year. I think that is a big shame and makes the games a little less exciting. And , no one wants that!!!

Only the teams with poor kick & punt returners.

i.e. the Steelers ...
Averaged somewhere around 6.1 yards a punt return ..

How is that being a homer? Someone starts a thread asking a question and someone else answers it. That's homerism to you? Coming from someone who sees everything through dark green and athletic gold glasses, this contention is laughable.

Yeah people on this board over use the word Homer. Gets annoying after a while ...

Damn...EZ banned again?

Brown had a good year last year, but that is an awful lot of money that the Steelers gave him for just one good year.
I really hope it works out.

For the love of all that is holy....why do people insist on bringing up these oldasss threads?

Pre-season is almost here. There was an NFL suicide this last weekend and if all else NFL fails, THE FREAKIN' OLYMPICS ARE ON!!!

As a famous Yogi once said..."It's deja vu all over again".
