The cardinals gave him what we couldn't....protection from the line...It would be nice to see Kurt go all the way!
Kurt and the Cards were on fire! They came prepared and the Defense was spectacular!
"In the words of my fav sportscaster: <i>"They could go all - the - way!"</i>
kurt played a good game, it certainly helps they have great field position for the entire game and also the panthers playing ZERO defense against fitzgerald. with bouldin out i knew fitzgerald would have a decent game but i would never have imagined they'd let him single handidly tear them apart like he did. this is the playoffs, not just a regular season game and they allow him to shred the secondary similar to a ginsu through warm butter. the defensive coordinator should be GONE! they had one guy they needed to worry about and couldnt go that right, heck it looked like they didnt even give a hoot
With Kurt Warner gone, so went the Rams potential dynasty. What if the 49ers had jettisoned Joe Montana in the 80s because he didn't win a Super Bowl EVERY YEAR? Thanks Mike Martz. Your choice replacement, Marc Bulger, has won only a single playoff game since 2003.
Damn....that first half against the Cards remind anyone of anything? I was having '99 flashbacks but I kept blinking my eyes because the uniforms were the wrong color.
My hat is off to you Kurt and the Cards! I just love it when an old washed up guy makes good!

Kurt Warner was one of the best stories of the year in '99 and he's one of the best stores again this year. Regardless of what team you root for, how can you not root for this guy?
I have been a Rams fan since I was a kid. I am glad to see Kurt Warner Back in the Super Bowl. If The Cards can win. He will be a sure Hall of Famer. To take two Bad teams from the seller to the promise land. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
Maryland Rams Fan...
Heh....I dug though my closet the other day and found my '99 Rams ballcap. I'm gonna wear it Sunday for Kurt.....Yeah, my son thinks I'm nuts too..

I have been a die hard Los Angeles Rams fan. When they moved to St. Louis it broke my heart. When they struggled in the 90's it was hard to watch. Kurt Warner's arrival in 99' re-kindled my hope and love for the Rams. When they let him go and fell apart as a organization it was like deja vu. I have never given up on Kurt. As much as I am amazed at his play I am amazed at his resilience and will to succeed. I hope and I prey. Go Kurt GO!
Poor Kurt. Despite overall great QB play, plus an officiating crew that had already decided the Steelers should win, a foolish interception returned 100 yards for a TD cost him his 2nd Super Bowl win. The 2001 Rams would have also beaten the Pats except for a Warner INT returned for a TD. Warner could have 3 Super Bowl rings if not for those two errant throws. Thanks for the 1999 Championship!
