I knew the Lions woud be an improved team this year but I didn't expect them to look this impressive. Their young QB looks like a rising star and that defense is really tough. I thought Chicago would be the biggest threat to unseat us but it looks like the Lions are for real.

That Stafford kid is making a believer out of me. How can someone improve that much over the previous season. If I was a Packer or Bear fan I'd be very nervous right now.

I am more used to the Lions stinking up their division. I don't know how to react to a winner and I think most Lions fans are that way. All I can say is WOO HOO !!!

Stafford looks like the real deal and our defense is tough as nails.

Just remember it is a 16 game season and anything can happen

Lions look damn good. But as quote #7 reminds, there's a long way to go. If Stafford stays healthy, this team will be tough to beat.

I hope the Lions get the wild card. I'm rootin' for them!

you say he improved over a season? WHAT!?!! he didnt play last year but 2-3 games. And in those 2-3 games he was throwing darts and TD's. He is just doing it consecutively now and that is the missing picture.

That 0-16 season must have been a trampoline, because since then they've just steadily been improving.

Dallas and Tampa are about even.

The Lion's won in Tampa vs the Jet's win at home vs. Dallas. Edge Detroit. This week Detroit is in Minnesota where they haven't won since '97... that is a must win for a "good" team.

I didn't mean to downgrade Detroit in my previous post. I only pointed out that Dallas and Tampa are very even teams.

As a Bears fan I fear Detroit more than Green Bay because of their physical DL and fierce pass rush. The Lions young QB also looks like he'll be difficult to stop this year.

This is the first time in a long time that I'm actually optimistic about our chance to reach the playoffs.
