Lifelong Giants fan. Have kept the faith as much as possible during all the bad years and have enjoyed their success when it came. The team that took the field today was one of the worst I can ever remember. Eli was terrible. The coaching was horrendous. The play-calling was pathetic and the performance overall was uninspired. The only bright spot was the D-Line which managed to pressure McNabb a lot more than they did last game.

The Eagles beat the Giants all around which is a painful thing to watch, especially at Giant Stadium.

I blame Plax for his stupidity (though the Jints did the right thing in putting him on the NFI). I blame Spags for worrying more about his next job than he did in prepping the defense for this game. I blame Eli for being -- well stupid and laconic and a bad passer. I blame Gilbride for not putting the ball in Ward's hands more. I blame Jerry Reese for not drafting a decent deep receiver over the last two years. And I blame Steve Tisch and John Mara for allowing the inmates to run the asylum.

It's going to be a long off season. We'll lose Ward to free agency. Spags will leave. Plax will probably go to prison. Jerry Reese will waste draft choices again on useless talent like Mario Mannenheim and in typical Giants fashion, they'll probably go 6-10 next season.

But I guess it's par for the course, since this is what it's always been like to be a Giants fan...
