I was under the impression that Texas (amongst others) was courting the Pac12, now what? I'm sorta liking all this T for T BS....lol.

Agreed. College basketball stands to lose in all of this. The Big East Tournament in Madison Square Garden - with all those quality teams - is a must-see event. The ACC tournament is probably 2nd, then every other conference tournament is way-y-y-y down the list.
Conference realignment based on football prowess seems short-sighted and sophomoric IMO.

- They have quality sports programs across all sports.
- And, they now have a very lucrative new television deal.

Keep what we have and TCU, Houston, and Tulsa (very negotiable)
