QUOTE(#1):
Manning is done for the season, I think Luck would be an excellent choice for the future, cause we have none right now.
The Colts would need the top pick in next year's draft to get Luck. The only way to get him would be for the team to tank for this season and I don't think that will happen. Look for Irsay to bring in a veteran QB to help salvage this season.
Ya gotta "Suck for Luck", or so they're saying.............lol

QUOTE(#3):
he already did that!
I don't think Collins is the answer at QB.
Certainly hope Luck doesn't turn out to be another Tebow.

Tim Tebow has not gotten a chance to show what he can do and there is a misconception among many NFL fans that he lacks the ability to be an NFL quarterback. We Denver fans want coach Fox to give Tim a chance to start and prove if he has what it takes to succeed in this league. Kyle Orton is an average quarterback and is not popular among most Bronco fans.

I think it is better for Tebow to sit behind an established NFL QB and get a better understanding of what it takes to succeed in this league. Some young QB's come into the NFL ready to contribute but many others need a learning curve.

Does anyone think Carson Palmer would have been a better choice?

No !
I just wish that we find an answer and find it soon....its hard watching your team fail repeatedly when that is not what you are used to! :(
Even if they can get the top pick, can they afford it $$$ ? Peyton is getting paid full salary either way.
Assuming Peyton's career is over, as it might be, if not you could be stuck with him, wow did I just say that?
The reason for saying that is simple, look at history. Rarely does any player come back from neck injuries and start up where they left off, especially at Peyton's age.
I see a possiblity of an ugly scenario where the fans are ready for him to retire and he is not ready, hopefully I am wrong, would be nice to see him take his rightful place in history as one the best all time.
QUOTE(#18):
I hope this doesn't turn into another Brett Favre situation.
Odd how both consecutive game streaks ended on the same weekend last month, both being the longest running.

They should just create a permanent monument to BF at the Hall of Fame, no one will ever come close to that consecutive game streak, heck few players will ever play that many games.

Yes, that was an amazing feat.
