So Vitor has pulled out of the fight with Cung Le and Wanderlei Silva has been tasked to take on Cung Le. Personally I think this is a more appropriate fight than having Vitor take a step back in opponents. Dana White says Wanderlei is fighting for his job. So what's everyones take on this.

I feel bad for Wanderlei. He is gunna get KTFO again and leave mma having lost 7 of his last 9 fights.

I don't know. Cung is old, and while he is far more technical I don't think he has the punching power to KO Wanderlei. He definitly could drive a roundhouse into his head or catch him with a good back kick while he is rushing in.

Wanderlei could easily hit him hard enough to send him back into acting though. And he is an under-rated defensive wrestler, just in case Cung wants to return to his collegiate wrestling skills. Wanderlei is a good counter puncher too.

I don't know who pick here. But I think you can all guess who I want to win.

Wandy does have a punchers chance but he has nothing left in the tank. He has been KO'd one to many times in the last few years.

Cung Le has nasty kicks and combos and will put him to sleep early 2nd round

Interesting match up that I really want to see. I say Cung has the speed advantage, but Wanderlei has the power advantage. Plus Cung likes to mess around too much. I see The axe murderer coming up with a highlite KO in this one!!
