Do YOU really believe they will be better off without him?
I haven't looked at the article (but I will) but it just sounds like rationalization

I'm thinking it's his size and weight. This has been a touchy subject for awhile. He's a big guy, and that could translate to back, hip, knee....problems. Personally, I'd like to see the Brewers get another 1 or 2 left handed batters, and take the rest of the money to pay for the starting pitching. I'm interested in the end product, not the players themselves.

Looks like the players themselves got the end product your interested in. A div. champ. and a trip to the playoffs. And now you are wanting to get rid of players, bring new players in, and the effin playoffs haven't started. Jeez!!

Anyway, best of luck in the playoffs. Should Mil. make the WS, hope they do a hellova lot better than the Astros did!

That would be better than the Astros did in the WS.

We already have the players, but we can't afford a $200 million player, which is what Fielder will demand. SO, that being as it may, we have no choice, so the team needs to do what's best financially, and that is resigning it's pitchers, and getting MORE lefty bats....these are far more important at this time.

At the rate your posting, what, every 5 minutes or so, you should have no problem being the most posted individual here. I have no intention of dethroning you! Besides, "American cricket" will be over soon, and the whole place will be yours during the off season! LOL

Not to mention he hasn't done much of late it seems...

....as of THAT posting that is! lol
