My family purchased 8 shares at $200 a pop the last time. It's kind of a neat experience, and you do get a few extras out of it.

Did all the owners get a Super Bowl Ring? Please let us know what the perks are for owning some shares of the Green Bay Packers.

So you bought shares of the team so you can buy a bunch of sports junk made in China, hoping some day that junk will be worth something and you can sell it all and retire. New rookie Brett Favre bobble head originally sold for $9.99, now its on ebay for 10.01, good thing plastic has a 1,000 year shelf life. In a few thousand years you will be able to retire.

It would be fun to own a few shares of the Packers, something interesting to say at least!

Or using it to light the fire....that's about it's only true usefulness.
"Stock" in the Packers is the biggest financial fraud in history. If any other company tried it the SEC would shut them down within an hour and people would go to jail.
-Stock value never increases as you can't sell it for more than you paid
-There are no dividends...ever
-All shares are non-voting so "owners" have absolutely no say in the direction of the company
-No need to split stocks when you want to make a new offering...just print more worthless paper. It doesn't matter, it has no value anyhow. No difference if you scam 1000 people or 100,000. Stock "price" is simply set at whatever number the Packers believe can maximize revenue.
It isn't a stock, it's an overpriced souvenir.
Every seat is sold out forever and this team has the gall to rip off more unsuspecting fans under the false pretense that they will be an "owner" of the Packers? On the flip side, I do get a chuckle every time some Packers fan claims "it's the only professional team owned by the fans". Nope. It's just the only professional team that can get it's fans to pay $200 for a piece of paper with zero value and zero potential value.

Lol, and what "Packer matters" would that be? Board of directors? Nope. Front office personnel? Nada. Draft choices? Uh uh. What exactly do you get to 'vote' on? What color to paint the janitors closet?
You get FREE admission to various places at the facility
Yeah, because all sorts of people who can't even get a ticket to a game want to hang out at the facility...
and exclusive purchases of Packer memorabilia anf gear not offered to the general public.
I get it now. Purchase of worthless stock entitles you to purchase more worthless trinkets. What a bargain!
Seriously. If you enjoy looking at your stock, I won't try to take that enjoyment from you. Just do me a favor and don't claim to 'own part of the Packers'. What you own is a high dollar souvenir that literally isn't worth the paper it's printed on from a monetary standpoint. Certainly it may have a different kind of value to you, and that's great. I just hate to see a team rip off fans it can't even provide tickets to with the false claim that you are somehow owners of the team if only you'll give them 200 bucks.

This one is kinda funny. It just tells me they've suckered you twice.
The reason said 'gear' isn't offered to the general public is because they couldn't sell it at the price point they wanted.
How it works is the R&D team comes up with a product they pass on to Market research.
The Market research team test markets the product to determine if there is any demand for it at the price point they are looking for. If there is, it goes into mass production and hits the store shelves. If there isn't, it goes into limited production and given a perceived added value of "exclusive to stock holders".

I think most Packer fans realize the stock they purchase isn't worth any money and buy it to help the team. They don't have the authority to hire or fire the President, General Manager or Head Coach and are well aware of this fact. You seem like a bitter, disgruntled person that is jealous of the Packers great tradition.
