NFL  > Detroit Lions  > Lions Sending Message To NFC North Opponents
September 25, 2011, 10:41 PM
With their best start in what seems like a lifetime, the Detroit Lions are making some noise in their division. Stafford has really taken charge of the offense and the defense continues to play well. We are tied with Green Bay for first place.

Bring on the Packers!

I think your 3-0 start has you giddy with power. As for the Packers, be careful what you wish for because you may get something you don't expect. I salute the Lions for their great start but there are still 13 games left to this season.

If Detroit can win this week against the Saints in NO, they will finally prove to me that they are a ligitimate contender. Good Luck Lions and fans, but it's not going to be easy. GO BEARS!!!

This week however the Lions go to Dallas which should be another W for the Lions. You just have to keep beating the teams you should, and win at least 1/2 of the big games and wala NFL Playoffs. Good luck. I still want to see 3 from the NFC North in the Playoffs. Go BEARS!!!

I think the Lions will win the NFC North. This is only a hunch and the season is still early but their defense has played much better than either the Packers or Bears defensive units. Stafford has really impressed me with his coolness under pressure.

I'm not used to this kind of praise for our team but it sure feels better than being a laughingstock for such a long time. I hope this team is built to last to make up for all those terrible seasons occupying the division basement.

Most of the experts are picking detroit slim... I wonder if that would be true if Romo were healthy, that should have sat Romo in anticipation of this game... Detroit all the way.

Thanks for your support ad I hope the experts are right. I hope our pass rush can get to Romo and force him into making mistakes.

get used to it if they win tomorrow, then the big question will be, can you beat the packers.

I'm looking forward to playing the Packers. We split with them last season and we didn't even have Stafford available because of injury. This year he looks geat and has put points on the board. Bring on the Packers!

I'm not going to wish your team luck this game, Slim....but, then you know why..........lol..........However, after this game, I wish the Lions the best of luck throughout the season.

The Lion's Thanksgiving game should be interesting for a change.
