Growing pains. When nearly the entire O line has been changed, that can be expected. I am surprised the Cowboys won too, but they found a way to win, even with the comedy of errors and injuries.
The Redskins don't look to be slouches this year. They too, are going through some growing pains as well, and they played well enough to win, and maybe should have.
But, like Ripper says........a win is a win.

most of the celebrating i saw after the game came from the owner's box.... JJ and son high fiving folks and acting like dallas had done something significant. now not to take away from a win, but really, this is game #3 in a long season. romo seemed steady in his interviews and not in any way celebrating. he seemed focused on the mistakes that need to be fixed, as did most of the players. but JJ and son.... they seem to be unable to control themselves at times after games. hard to imagine these guys won 3 SBs in the 90s and are now showing such excitement over a TD-less victory this early in the season. kinda shows where this team has fallen to i guess, from an expectations standpoint of the owners. but all in all.... this team is showing more heart and fight than they have in a long time.

After what happened last year, and releasing all of the veterans they released this year, starting 3 rookies on the O line, not to mention a rash of injuries to key personnel, I'd be celebrating as well.
Seeing that the 'Skins came into the game at 2-0, and doing pretty well (considering their recent history), I didn't really expect the 'Boys to win. Lots of unknowns with them, and it showed with the injuries, screw ups (like the 4 mis hikes, and receivers not knowing their assignments, etc.). The 'Skins came to play.
The Cowboys, esp Romo and the defense, did NOT give up, and that impressed me, especially after last year, giving up on Wade. The Redskins , if the truth be known, should have won this game last night. If this had been last season, they would have.................and did.
Romo showed great leadership last night, with his will to play and play well enough to win, plus the fact he SHOWED it with the other players when they screwed up.
I believe, when these guys get more practice time together, people heal up, and if Romo continues doing as he did.....being vocal.......I believe this team will at least have a winning season. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season............win or lose.

dookie's a tough critic here,....i wonder who her/hiz team iz ?
Well I grew up in a household that was pure Dodger Blue and all other sports were not important. Anyway in that environment I somehow morphed into casual fan of the NFL and eventually the big fan I am today. I am like most folks and choose the underdog, the team that is not 'suppose' to make it.
Yeah the Bills and Lions are great stories and I will be on their sideline all season, should be fun.
I was once a Raider fan a decade or so ago but the owner kept taking a dump on the fans, the same situation with the Dodgers now, I must be jinxed.
BTW it is really nice you folks read this post and gave great comments.
I have read many a reply to other posts where the reply-er did not actually read the post, as I am sure you have also.

I thought Raider fans liked to be dumped on.
I guess the ones that stick with the Al-mighty must like it, not me.

I grew up as a Cowboys fan, and always watched other teams play as well as the 'Boys, even when the Cowboys weren't playing. I've seen a lot of great players through the years, including Gale Sayers' 6 TD game in the mud.
I enjoy the game for what it is, even though I am in disagreement with Jerry Jones a lot.......lol

That is very impressive, I did see Sandy Koufax pitch many times, that would be the only thing that could come close to seeing Mr. Sayers, although I did not see his no-hitters or perfect game.
And I really miss the mud, how about the rest of you, this new turf is nice looking and players seem to have far less injuries and like it much better but it is so clean.
QUOTE(#1):
Agree it's not the SB, but any W is a good W in the NFL. That said, the game pretty much sucked.
Unless you like the art of field goal kicking.
There were several comedic errors in this game, if the punt return by Knox in the Green Bay vs Chicago game had not be overturned by a undocumented on video hold. That was as funny as watching the Dallas Center bounce his snapped balls off of Romos face.

Not nearly as funny as seeing the skins go down in flames, LOL.
