When enough is enough it is about time that the teams took control and not the players I remember when the managers ran the teams and not the players ( pre-madonnas ) for example mike young does not want to play 3rd base boo friggin hoo
you signed a contract that most anybody would kill for and to play a game thats right a game that some off us played for the love of the game. I know a ton of players that would play where ever they were told to play and probably do it for 1% of what mike young is making. go out and find a real job mike and try to earn half of what you are paid to play PAID TO PLAY where they tell you to play we all are told to do this or that and we don't really have a choice so we do it. my dad was an ex pro named billy cox and he made what they make as per diem now and loved the game. honor is no longer in sports no player wants to finish there career with the same team anymore they go to the money. honor your contract you signed and play for or go down the road and take the rest of the rangers with you you ask us to go and spend our hard earned money to watch a lack luster bunch of over paid pre-madonnas try and i mean try to play baseball we tkae our kids and by the time it is over it cost us $ 400.00 dollars to watch a team of losers that don't want to play except when and where they want to. grow up big leaguers. and you know when the rangers first came to Texas my team did a commercial with the team for dallas transit ranger flyers buses to the game and the players were great Ted Williams was the skipper and he took time to talk to us about hitting paul lindblad threw to us we were 9 and 10 years old that was the best but now if you want thatkind of stuff you would have to play them for it now.not much of a game anymore makes me SAD
