NFL  > Pittsburgh Steelers  > Is Bill Cowher Still Lookin' For A Job?

Whatta ya' think, Bill.......$5M/yr.?

Please stop. Cowher would not have coached the team to victory. Tomlin is excellent. I doubt you are even a Steelers' fan with this comment.

What....you think we need cheerleaders, or something?

We NEED a coach who can "inspire" this team....AGAIN!!!

You probably want Steely McBean to cry on your shoulders. You are doing a huge disservice to all Steeler fans. Please stop the madness.

But see, Shaman is and always was an idiot - that's why he gets ripped apart by other posters ... including other Steelers fans.

I can see your point BG.

Yeah....I guess I'm too-heavy into winning.

Aside from playing on the offensive line or covering receivers there's not much Cowher could do.

You mean.....besides tellin' the D to get their collective-ass INTO GEAR, and play like PITTSBURGH?!!

Tomlin is first class. A very good coach. He is not the problem.

Mike Tomlin > Bill Cowher

And neither guys wins a championship without Dick LeBeau.

that's chump-change.........i think pete carroll and mike shannahan are each getting 5-yr./35-mill.[7-mill./yr.],........rex ryan's prolly getting 5-mill. a yr.[1st.timer].......after watching tonites game = he's overpaid !

Even Cowher knows.....being outta-the-game (for a few years) is gonna make make most money-managers question his current-value.

He left, making $4M/yr. I'm pretty-sure $5M/yr. (short-term) would be enough to make him reconsider what he's being paid as a commentator. There's that, and.....for-all-intents-and-purposes....he's "single", again. His wife is gone & his girls are (mostly) grown-up. I think he'd enjoy the HELL outta showin' people what he can (still) do, as a Coach.....and, I think his players feed-off-of the high-voltage he brings to locker-rooms[B[![/B]

Yep ... Cowher spitting all over the defense would have solved everything!

I know.

That was pretty-much proven when LeBeau took his sabbatical....and, coached in Cincy (2000 through 2002).

I wish he would spit on the Bear's offensive line.
