Please stop. Cowher would not have coached the team to victory. Tomlin is excellent. I doubt you are even a Steelers' fan with this comment.

Aside from playing on the offensive line or covering receivers there's not much Cowher could do.

And considering the coaching decisions he made during his last year with the Steelers - why the hell would we want him back anyway?

He left, making $4M/yr. I'm pretty-sure $5M/yr. (short-term) would be enough to make him reconsider what he's being paid as a commentator. There's that, and.....for-all-intents-and-purposes....he's "single", again. His wife is gone & his girls are (mostly) grown-up. That was pretty-much proven when LeBeau took his sabbatical....and, coached in Cincy (2000 through 2002).
