Why in the world woiuld you intentionally walk Rouis? Hammells was out of the game anyway . he had a pitch count of 117. there was just no reason for the intentional walk.

Totally agree on that one, SL. I didn't think that made sense at all.

What do you think about our chances in Game 5? Halladay will obviously be tough, but I expect a big bounceback game from Carp tomorrow as well.

I think that it is our game to loose. Momentum is in our favor. the guys are here to win. they have been fighting againt the odds for the last two mounths and here they are. I f they just keep doing what they have for the last 25 games or so (barrining doing something completly boneheaded again) I say we go to the NLCS.

GO CARDS!!!

Yeah, in spite of the Phillies' players saying that the pressure is on the Cards, I think clearly the pressure is on the Phils. They are the 102 win team playing at home that has supposedly the greatest rotation of all time. I think they are much more likely to tighten up tomorrow than the Cardinals are.

That said.....Halladay will be a handful and we have to continue to take advantage of opportunities when we get them.

I agee Ten. Holliday will be tough, but also that the pressure is on the Phils here. If they win then they did what was expected by game three against a team that most in the baseball world think shouldnt even be here, and if they loose its a repeat of last year against the Giants. However if the cards loose. they lost to the best team in MLB and had a comeback year that was truly great, and if they win then they are once again the Cinderella team. The Cards are not the ones in the pressure cooker. Shoot Berkman acts like he's having the most fun playing the game he ever has.

HaHa.....yeah I agree about Berkman. They all seem to be having a great time with this.

I know it is Halladay, but I like our chances tonight. This team is loose and just seems to believe that they are going to pull irons out of the fire when they need to.

We really need to do what Detroit did last night. Hit the Phillies with some runs right off the bat and get them back on their heels. If we can get ahead early, they may tighten up and start to panic.

Here's hoping Carp brings his "A" game tonight.......

Here is hoping that the middle of the order can turn all of those base hits that Theriotis hitting into runs scored. The way that he is getting on base in this series is unreal.
