NFL  > General NFL  > RAVENS ARE BLACK CLOUD ON STEELERS FUTURE.
October 5, 2011, 12:42 AM
With the poor front office decisions to pour money into contracts for old players thus leaving very little wiggle room to acquire players to replace the injured starters. Ben gets punished game after game because of a bad offensive line that should have been replenished with young new talent in the off season. Steelers are famous for replacing their injured starters with fresh, young and fast new talent. Not this year though. Must have been a front office decision to just retread the old talent with money. Slow linebackers and weak corners are the norm for this team. Some of the sports guys on the NFL network are still picking for the Steelers finish strong and take the championship. Really? Did the sports guys on the NFL channel watch the Ravens wreck the Steelers? How about the damage the Ravens D did to the Jets? Steeler fans...get used to abuse. Your Steeler front office sealed the deal for you last summer by doing nothing for your future. Those terrible towels are going to come in handy. Blind folds, crying hankies and rags to polish the Ravens cleats are new uses for the Steelers fans to keep them distracted.

You must be quite-the-"fan".....not having see/heard-about Isaac Redman!!

If you think the Steelers have problems in the offensive line just watch a Chicago Bears game and see what weak really looks like.

i think every team has their own issues/weaknesses this year,......ravenz' offense didn't look too ~hot~ either sun.-nite.

They didn't have to with their defense doing all the scoring.

If the Steelers don't show up these next couple weeks and the offensive line does not improve with Starks back in the line up, the Ravens will probably take the division.
But it's too early to talk about all this right now ... Anything could happen in the NFL, Cinci could take the division for all we know.
What I do know is that the Ravens have issues as well. Take Ray Rice out of your offense and how good is it? Flacco was 10 of 31 with a fumble and an interception on Sunday night ... people say he's underrated ... IMO is overrated! He doesn't show up very often in big games (like games against the Steelers). Ben does. That's what it usually comes down to between these two teams, who shows up in the BIG games and wins. Every year the Steelers are the ones that do that. We'll see if they'll be able to this year. At this point, I still think the Steelers have more potential then the Ravens do ..

You are pounding your chest after only four games? If you are such an expert on personnel decisions you should apply for an NFL scouting position.

Funny, I am fairly certain that the front office of the Steelers is the one that has put the Steelers in three Super Bowls in the 2000s...Also, certain that ownership holds more Super Bowls than any other franchise...Finally, I don't recall us moving our team from Cleveland...I think the Steelers will be alright.

Seems to me the Ravens are wrecking every team they play, not just the Steelers.
