NFL  > Pittsburgh Steelers  > IT'S ISAAC REDMAN'S TIME
October 5, 2011, 07:24 PM
Mendenhall is expected to miss a couple weeks, so Redman is most likely getting the start next Sunday. This guy is one of the best, I don't know why he sits on the bench 80% of the time ...
FANTASY OWNERS
Go get 'em! He's available in 93% of leagues on NFL.com. I already have him on my bench .. I had a feeling Tomlin would end up utilizing Redman a lot more in the offense this season.
STEELERS FANS
Do you guys think Redman should have the start as our running back full time?

He was very impressive for most of one game. Too bad he isn't in better shape. He might have finished the game. But very impressive. We'll see.

"He was a beast," Hampton said. "I don't expect nothing but greatness from him from these next few games we've got. I'm not worried about him at all. One guy ain't going to bring him down. That's the kind of back you want fighting for you all of the time."

Except for being able to play a whole game and not fumble it away twice a game, yup, you're right, Sherman. There are no questions regarding Redman at all. None. I expect that slacker Tomlin and his entire staff to be replaced because they failed to see what you did.

Watch & learn, rook.

January 6, 2012  09:54 AM ET

"Isaac Redman knew the odds heading into his first training camp with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2009. He didn???t like them a bit.

Rookie free agents from places such as Bowie State typically don't stick around for long.

"The only thing I kept saying when I first got here was as long as they don't cut me before I put the shoulder pads on, I should be fine," he said."

"Any big game, he's been there. He's responded," said his Bowie State coach, Damon Wilson. "It's a joy to watch a kid like that, and watch it from Day One."
