I noticed nobody has posted anything about ufc 135 unless I am over looking it. I thought it was a great card overall. Jon Jones can be beat, I saw a lot of holes in his game against Rampage. I noticed he is not a great striker at all, he also looked weak or Rampage has superman powers. I think Machida and Evans can beat Jones. Rampage is a pure boxer with 0 ground game. Machida can counter and Evans will take him down. Don't me wrong Jon Jones is a great fighter but clearly not Anderson Silva talent, Yet!

Josh Kos looked great against Matt, he seemed quick and in great shape. Matt H needs to hang it up or fight simple fights to keep getting a paycheck. I think Matt is one of the greatest WW in mma and you have to respect him as a fighter.

Ben Roth does not belong in the ufc and I have never liked him as a fighter.

Travis B has potential but has a lot of work ahead of him.

Congrats to Nate Diaz, I am not a fan of him but I do give props on a great performance.

I don't know if people are overlooking it, but I've been hovering around here and it doesn't seem like anyone is around.

They aren't posting if they are.

I was there, row 7.

Rampage looked great defensively, but never took it to Jones. He stuff all but one takedown attempt and even got up from that one after only one real good elbow. And he dodged a lot of Jones' flashy moves. So obviously Rampage knew what Jones would do. It was the kicking that gave Rampage trouble.

I definitely want to see Jones v. Evans and Machida.

Jone is very beatable, he needs to get his strength up because Rampage basically threw him off of him like two kids playing around.

I've been saying this for months now and people have laughed it off. His striking is not great. People think because he's throws flashy striking he's great but he has holes. His leads with the wrong foot still. He doesn't utilize a jab. He doesn't have any power in his punches and thats mostly because of his footwork and base. Machida and Evans can for sure beat him.

I agree, the further he goes in his title defense, the tougher its going to get for him. Jon Jones has is not a striker, he better thank God for his ability to kick because he used his legs to keep Rampage at a distance and not allow Jackson to let loose. You take away Jones kicks and he is an average fighter. Jones is a great wrestler but if he is fighting against a guy that can defend the take down then its useless. This is why I respect GSP because he knows he can't out wrestle everyone so he developed a striking game that has made him a true MMA fighter.

Machida is a great counter striker and is also good on take down defense, not great but knows how to defend it. Plus Machida does have kicks that will give Jones problem. To be honest I can see Machida winning in the 3rd with a strike.

Agreed. But I do think Machida has great TDD. I can't remember him ever being taken down. And I'm going with Machida in this fight.

I see Machida winning as well!!

Is anybody interested in the Nick Diaz vs Penn fight. I don't see Penn having much trouble if you ask me. Penn is the better striker and ground game.
