Me. Voters are skeptical until 10/29 vs Illinois.

Purdue at home should be a win... which would make the following week at Northwestern the game for JoePa to tie Eddie Robinson. And getting WAAAAAAY ahead of myself, the Illinois game would be for 409.

Then you can rank them highly at 8-1 before Nebraska comes into Happy Valley.

I still have hope. But it is extremely guarded.

PSU looks like the type of team that can make any game close no matter the quality of the opponent.

I am waffling badly on the Michigan/Mich St. game.

Three cupcakes and bad road loss to ND and good road win vs. erratic Ohio State. Now a week off.... I still can't say anything about that team.

I don't put any stock in the NCAA's #1 defense ranking with that schedule and I guarantee Michigan drops that ranking a long way.

I also don't really want to believe in Michigan after 2 straight fast starts and tanked conference schedules.
.
However, they scores 13 and 10 against comparable teams in ND and tOSU. Will they hold Michigan to 14 or less? No way in the LP.

I'd take Wolverines.

1 LSU at TENN (I take the 5th - actually, 750 ml of Tennessee Sippin' Whiskey - and, I'll read about it in the morning)
2 Bama beats Ole Miss
3 OU beats Kansas
4 WISC defeats Indiana
5 BSU beats CSU
6 OkSU defeats 22 Texas
7 Stanford beats WSU
8 Clemson gets by at Maryland
9 Oregon defeats 18 ASU
11 MICH comes up short at 23 Michigan State
12 GT stays undefeated at UVA
14 NEB wins at MINN
15 SCAR ekes by Miss State
16 ILL beats tOSU
17 KSU nips TT
19 VT is upset at WFU (Wake is overdue to overcome their demons)
20 Baylor steals victory at 21 TAMU
24 Auburn escapes UF

Notables
Utah trips at Pitt (Like the Vols, the Utes have lost their QB for a time)
Miami fins a way to win at UNC
USC chokes at CAL
PSU's D defeats Purdue

A word of caution: Right now, I wouldn't follow my lead, even into a bar with nekkid dancers.

Quirky quad.

Nice analysis, and I do believe Michigan is the better team. But I am uneasy and ussure nonetheless.

I miss your Handicapped Parking thread from two seasons ago more than anything else on these boards.

That's very kind. I did enjoy that thread and your counter-analysis very much.

Think 10 is a bye week for ARK.
