NFL  > Arizona Cardinals  > WEEK #6 PICKS
October 11, 2011, 12:28 PM
This is not a week I'd want to bet. This will also be a week when there might be another degree of separation may occur in certain Divisions.

Panthers @ Falcons (W)- They can't afford not to win
Bills (W) @ Giants - Maybe Giants should put this Manning on IR?
Eagles (W) @ Redskins- This is a tough pick, it wasn't 8 weeks ago.
Jaguars @ Steelers (W)
Rams @ Packers (W)- Rams miss drafting in the Top 10 each year.
49ers (W) @ Lions- Lets make it 3-0 on the road. It is a good sounding board for both teams.
Colts @ Bengals (W)- I'm convinced the Colts are throwing the season, just like they chose not to go undefeated a couple of years ago.
Browns @ Raiders (W)- To much home field advantage. Al Davis will be the 12th man.
Texans @ Ravens (W) - Home field, both teams need it to stay in 1st place
Cowboys @ Patriots (W)- This could get ugly
Saints (W) @ Buccaneers
Vikings @ Bears (W)- Bears need it more.
Dolphins @ Jets (W)- If Jets lose the fans may enhance Ryans foot fetish by putting a foot up his rear end.

Narry,i'm not convinced about the Bengals,as this is the exact kind of game, they stink it all up.

I'm not convinced about the Bengals either, but they do get 3 points for being the home team in the spread and I think that is all it will take to beat the Colts. I am convinced there is something shady going on in Indianapolis in order that the Colts have a chance to draft #1. Like I said before, any team that is willing to tank a potentially perfect season like the Colts did a few years ago will stoop to going winless in order to get their QB of the future.

Narry,i didn't know you were a 49's fan,but they're also doing better than most people thought too.

You're being sarcastic right? About me being a 49er fan, I thought you knew. I think this is a team that is getting better week by week and this will be one of those steps we have to take to get better. We have had a brief setback with Joshua Morgan being hurt and maybe out for the season, but the strength of this team is showing to be the defense. We play Detroit and then have a bye week and will get Braylon Edwards back at full strength. RIcky Jean-Francois substituted for Issac Sopoaga, got the game ball and has shown that he has taken the next step. Carlos Rodgers has had an interception in 3 straight games, more than he had during his career stay at Washington. I haven't seen the players on the 49ers this happy and excited to play in a long time.

Last night I was rooting for Jahvid Best, glad to see he had a good game. But next week I hope we hold him to under 50 yards rushing. I was also glad to see Marshawn Lynch had a good game this weekend. I root for all Cal players in the NFL, except when they are playing against the 49ers.

Good.... Let Painter and the Colts prove me wrong. I know the Rams aren't 0-4 because they want to draft a QB, the Dolphins on the other hand are really bad. Denver should think about trading Tebow to Miami [ That is if Miami has the #1 overall pick, and if Tebow shows promise so Miami will even consider it] along with next years #1 and #2 draft picks so Denver can pick Luck and he could be watched after by Elway. I thought from the beginning that one of the Florida teams should have drafted Tebow for that purpose. But because Tampa Bay is stable, Jacksonville could be heading towards LA in a couple of years, that leaves Miami which is really hurting in their ticket and merchandizing sales could use a Tebow. Of the remaining winless teams the Colts have the more difficult schedule and could go the longest without a win if they can't beat Cincinnati.

If the Falcons lose to Carolina the chances of them making the playoffs this year will be very slim.

Man save your money, I can tell you stories, oh the stories.

The best advice to give anyone wanting to gamble;

Can you afford to take that money and throw it out the car window on the freeway doing 85 mph at night?

I was watching that stupid pawn shop show here in Vegas the other day, this customer is bartering for a better price, they go back and forth for minutes finally settling on a deal.

Then they interview the guy in the parking lot and the first thing he says is he is going to the casinos with his pawn money. Seems beyond pointless to barter just so the casinos get more money.
