A 6-0 Illinois is one of the bigger surprises in CFB this season.
While a win against tOSU is possible, I seriously doubt a 41-10 beatdown that you are predicting. Their defense is vastly superior to the 1-5 Indiana squad the Illini beat 41-20 last week.
It's a bit premature to be talking BCS for any team, but what the heck:
Since the Illini are in the same division as the Badgers, I don't see Illinois winning their division and playing the CCG. More realistic is hoping the Illini go 11-1 or 10-2 and get an at-large bid.
The rub though, is to get an at-large bid, they need to finish ahead of all the other Big10 teams in polls besides wisky. Right now, they are behind Michigan and a 1 loss Nebraska in the polls, but ahead of Sparty and Penn State.
With Zooker, no lead is safe. The guy has flashes of leading a team on the upswing, only to follow it soon enough with a crash. He just cannot hold a team on the right path for any extended period of time. That's been his history, and I see no reason to expect that to change.
Helluva recruiter, though, as always.
Robster needs an NCAA update. 2011 will be the THIRD time the Illini make a BCS bowl game in the last ten years. Not Great, but not bad, either.
I expect the Zookster to be named NCAA Coach of the Year.

The experience we had with the guy is not pretty. If your fan base is happy with the once-in-a-while really good season mixed in with a bunch of mediocre ones, he may be a great guy for you.

With a championship game and ND + BSU both strong, a second B1G team is less likely than in the past. No way a 2 or 3 loss team gets in.

No, i think it will be more like 27-10 or 27-14.
The Illini have a balanced offensive attack and can adapt to either the run (Arizona State), the pass (Northwestern) or a balanced (Indiana) attack depending upon the opposing defense.
