Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can quickly transform into its ugly sister, disappointment. That being said, I'm starting to have hope for my Niners. Very impressive win today. A team that can come from behind and win on the road against a seemingly superior opponent is a dangerous team. I HOPE they sustain the momentum. Did anyone see the post-game exchange between Harbaugh and Schwartz?

To me, this evens the boards for the 1957 playoff loss. We finally got our own back and got even. Took 54 years, but today -- the hype, the crowd, Detroit's smugness -- made the wait worth it. Damned nice win! Nicest in along time, even compared to some of those over Dallas.

Vindication is reassuring. But revenge is sweet!

Time to open a bottle of northern California wine...

If Detroit maybe had Lake Superior on its shoreline then maybe I'd say there was something Superior about them. But for now lets just say there is something Erie about them.
