It's early still, but if the Rams get the number one pick, what should they do?

Draft Luck then trade him for Romo, and we'll throw in Garrett for extra incentive?

October 18, 2011  12:59 PM ET

Ha Ha! Maybe. But the Dolphins look so bad they may edge out the Rams. Or the Colts.

Just an idea..............lol

Draft Luck.

There is no reason to draft Luck when you have Bradford. Let it be known that you're interested in dealing away the first overall pick, then give it to a team 1-3 slots below you that's desperate for Luck. Draft Blackmon with the acquired first-rounder and enjoy the draft day bounty of picks you acquired to go with it. Simple.

Moot point though, since the Colts will have the top pick this year..

Draft Luck and trade Bradford. Bradford isn't that good.

Bradford is strong, mobile and hasn't had anyone to throw to recently. Except for perhaps the trade with Denver.

Drafting Luck and Trading Bradford isn't a terrible idea. Bradford has a huge contract given that he was drafter prior to the rookie salary cap that is now in place. With no threatening receivers on the roster, Bradford can't be effective this season. You save money and get a signal-caller that is just as, if not more talented than what you have now. In addition, your trade could also get you a receiving threat. Make no mistake though, Bradford is good.

I see the temptation to draft Luck, make no mistake, I do. But Bradford has already proven himself to be one of the promising young quarterbacks in the league. Why risk the chance of Luck being a bust (or at least not living up to the hype)?

Although I don't think the Rams will have the worst record. They're not a great team, I know, but so far they've played the Eagles, Giants, Ravens, Redskins, and Packers. There's no shame in losing to those teams right now. They still have yet to square off with the Cardinals and the Seahawks twice apiece. Their wins will come. Indianapolis and Miami are in much bigger danger of finishing with the worst record.

JJ.... he's a huge part of the problem. a great owner, but very poor GM. you couldn't pay a team enough money for them to take JJ as their GM!

Bradford is overrated in my opinion. He is the proud owner of an 0-5 record.

Maybe they would take his money.
