The Kiffins, father and son, have crafted the first half of the season to make the Irish overconfident. It seems to have worked like a charm, at least on the oddsmakers.
If only it were true.
:: Heavy sigh ::
C'mon TtT! Don't tell me I'm the only one who thinks the Trojans will win this. The Cal game was an aberration. USC 34, ND 24.
Not sure who will win, but 9pts seems crazy. If I were in Vegas this seems like a fairly easy spread pick.

SC played like crap even though they won.

30 - 9. I'd say Cal looked like crap in that one.

Cal had a lot of turnovers. But Barkley didn't have a great game and they didn't run the ball well. Yes, Cal was pathetic. But SC is much better than they showed in that game. They can play better and will have to in order to beat ND.

No, you aren't. I just don't see it happening. With injuries depth may be a bit of a prob, but in some ways the injuries are a boon, at least at CB and RB.
At CB in the off week Isiah Wiley, a late comer JC transfer is really starting to show his stuff in practice http://bleacherreport.com/tb/bbnMg. He got time against Cal and looked good, will start vs ND. He is more of a risk taker and IMO the Troy version of "bend don't break" is rather like a hooker... well, never mind. Just say they are bending waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over and need to get some big plays, the kind a risk taker can give. He might get burnt once in a while, but is it worse than giving up 15 every time?
And I like Tyler at RB, but the running game has shown nothing; that is, until Curtis Mcneal, who averages 7.0 a carry, comes in.
The first few games mistakes killed Troy, but they seem to have gotten that under control. My only concern on O is the status of Marquise Lee; w/o him it is a bit easier to take away Woods. Also, don't expect MB and RW to be that out of sync for 2 weeks in a row. Did anyone actually watch? There were sooooo many TD/big plays that were 6" too long. Won't happen again.
Not gonna predict a score, but if weather isn't a factor in the passing game USC wins fairly easily. If it is then USC has bveen good against the run...

The passing game was off for the 1st time this year, least thats what I assume was meant....

The offense did, but for a change the D looked like the D of old...

We've probably had different experiences, but I've learned when a betting line appears too good to be true, it usually is.

My fear is Kiffin let the fire go out and he can't get it lit again.
The Trojans have only faced one good opponent so far (ASU) and they got trashed. Despite all the talent in the world, the D-line would need assistance getting through a turnstyle, and now the inside running game has taken a hit. ND has been coming on after a slow start. Still, I know USC has the tools to win. But if they can't find the old spark and come out with some emotion, they could easily lose by 2 TD's.

Agreed. Most of the time the Cal QB had all the time he needed, he just couldn't shoot straight. Besides the INTs, he missed open receivers so many times it was laughable. IMO the USC D had nothing to do with it.
9 points I will take that what is superior doing...I need more of his money?
Never thought i'd find myself rooting for USC (since you can't spell s.u.c.k. without them), but anyone BUT ND.... just like anyone BUT obama, anyone BUT ND winning....

Reads like you think ND and USC have never played before. And I might agree with your political opinion, but it has no place on these threads.
This thread aches aloud for Sandy Underpants' posts.
