NFL  > General NFL  > Colts shame their loyal fans.

How could the Colts quit on their fans so miserably? I know your star quarterback and your best running back are out. But the rest of you guys just quitting? How about you guys play for some pride? No? How about the loyal fans of yours that stayed by you before you were a success? Certainly not the millions of 'fans' that threw you overboard already. If you will not show up for games, then don't even bother with the rest of the season!

DOCTORS ADVICE TO PEYTON MANNING- Don't watch Colts football you may re-injure your neck from the constant turning away that may strain your neck.

This was all about lousy coaching. It is about management that gave up on the season long before it even started. They made no honest effort to secure a QB in free agency, NO, Kerry Collins does not count. The Colts only goal is to go 0-16 for the year. They may even lose both their games against Jacksonville.

It is preposterous that any NFL team would try to lose all their games. You are way off base on this one.

Colts fans are just spoiled from so many years of superb football and whine like babies when their team is outmatched by a superior team. Real fans stand by their team through good times and bad.

Whining? I think most Colts fan have been pretty understanding of the whole situation. Yeah, it sucks to watch your team lose. But quite frankly, they're right in saying that if they had Manning the situation would be better than it is now. Would they be 7-0? No. But they'd have a few wins. I think most fans have been frustrated that the loss of one player (albeit, a great player) could have this kind of effect, but I haven't heard any whining.

4...you've been here long enough to know that you are supposed to ignore posters like Marvin Lardner. He's just lookin' for a fight.

It was a sad loss for the Colts and the fans but Saints played really, really well last night and once the Colts were down and the confidence left them, then it was inevitable. :(

Like I said...I have NEVER witnessed an NFL team quit like this. The Saints were horrid back in the day but at least they tried and were close in some those futile games. The Lions were the same. Loss after loss after loss but they had games where it was close but they still lost AND at least tried. Brady was out for a season and did the Pats lie down and pout? No! They lost but one game that regular season. The Colts are pro's so they should play and loose like pro's, not like a bunch of young college kids who are trying to figure things out as they mature...like most young men do at that age. I try to post some thought provoking topics [ sometimes a bit wreckless...I'll admit to that ]on this site to get the river of conversation flowing, and flowing fast! This is just a guess, but if I bet this kinda of ownership mismanagement and team quitting was happening in Dallas, Pittsburg or Baltimore...heads would be rolling! These team's get that **** corrected and corrected quick! Oh and Sweets...I understand if you can't cope with some simple debate...you were drawn that way!
