The Black Hole  > Group Message Board  > What the Raiders need...

I would love to participate in the new poll. But what the Raiders really need first is an entirely new front office (and maybe ownership?) that knows how to handle a contract negotiation with the agent of the NFL's No.1 pick. I am no fan of sports agents, so don't think I am taking Russell's agent side on this. But it has been reported repeatedly in the Oakland Tribune and the San Fran Chronicle how Oakland's people came to the table ill-equipped to deal with the agent and Russell. WHat, did they call in our federal government to negotiate?
This is another sad time in Oakland, after what looked to be positive days ahead with Kiffin at the helm and JaMarcus being selected. Let's hope these guys put on their thinking caps soon and get this contract signed.
