Listening to STL sports radio yesterday. The Cards are getting a lot of attention there because of the history, the Warner connection, and because a lot of the old Card players still live in the area and are active in the STL commmunity.

Anyway, Dierdorf talked about watching the game Sunday and when it was clear the Cards were going to win, his phone rang and it was Jim Hart. He said they were both giddy like school girls, all excited and pumped up over the fact that the Cards were going to the Super Bowl. He then said he had talked to several old Card teammates over the next couple of days and everyone was the same......just excited that this was finally happening. Sounds like they were all as stunned as we are.

It was nice to hear that the old STL Card players still have an attachment to the team.
