NBA  > General NBA  > Is Alonzo Mourning a Hall of Famer?
January 23, 2009, 01:57 PM
Alonzo Mourning retired Thursday after 15 NBA seasons. He finished with career averages of 17.1 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks. The seven-time All-Star also won the Defensive Player of the Year award twice and -- after returning from a kidney transplant -- was part of the Miami Heat's 2006 championship team. His international career included gold medals at the 2000 Olympics and 1994 World Championships.

Does Mourning deserve a spot in the Basketball Hall of Fame?
