I agree that one loss will not break your heart but you know and I know that seeing your team go undefeated AND win the Superbowl has got to be amazing! It's been done once, nearly done another time and that's IT! That's why the geriatrics crawl out of South Florida about this time each year BECAUSE it is something special.
I think New England felt it worst to go 16-0 plus 2 more and then LOSE in the Superbowl, maybe the greatest disappointment. Only Bills could answer that, 4 losses in a row or the Vikes with 4 losses in total, are the 4 losses worse?
This will play out, always does, who knows maybe the Pack can put the Phins to bed once and for all.
I hope my Team can take care of the Phins on Thursday.
I wonder if this thread will bring some interesting comments?

Packers have no ego, or swag. They are winning and playing week by week.....Not sure what will be knocked off their faces.

Hey EZ,
lots picking the Lions early. Fearless pick, if Lions win you claim Football Genius, if they lose then shrug and no one is surprised as most going with the Packers.
My money would go on the Pack, the comeback vs the Panthers was meaningless to me.

The Lions are always tough on Thanksgiving Day no matter who the opponent is.
Could be that they have the "routine" down for the short week and they host, no travel.

Oh I agree. I was just commenting it won't break my heart if they went 14-2, and then won out. You'd be surprised the grief I get by Packer fans who say I'm not a real Packer Backer because I criticize the team. LOL, it's insane man!

Not always. It wasn't so long ago that people and pundits were calling for the Lions not to play on Thanksgiving anymore.
I think it's cool that the NFL stuck with tradition and now we get to see an important divisional game that could really go either way.

Criticizing a 10-0 team can come off as being disingenous.

A fan has to look past the gilded lining and realize the shortcomings of your team. You know your rivals are. Knowing where you are weak helps in watching the game and understanding why you are getting gashed up the middle or your Safety is getting exploited or LBs raped in the short game by the TE. Rose colored glasses are for 7-8 yr old soccer matches where everyone gets a trophy.
I don't think the lions win tomorrow. Stafford has had miracle comebacks this year but the team has had to overcome many mistakes. No sour grapes but Dallas gave them that game. Looking fwd to it.

Disagree completely. Been reading any of their attributed quotes over the past few years? I remember when the joke around Green Bay was ...... "Did you know they changed the names of the Goal Post? Yep, they're called BED POSTS now!"
Every team gets a big head when they're winning. The problem is controlling it long enough until you win it all.

You are 100% correct. Don't be surprised by the Lions tomorrow Packer fans. Should be an excellent game provided the penalties and sloppy play are checked at the door.

Meh, I disagree as well....and using quotes from years past, to this year? Umm....okay? I haven't heard one comment clip, post game interview, new conference, or overall interview of them commenting about a future game rather than the one they are playing next Sunday. Heck, Aaron Rodgers was even quoted saying, "The only thing GB cares about is going 1-0 that week of play" Haven't heard one prediction, agreement with an undefeated season, or that they have proclaimed themselves as the SB champs already; heck even winning the NFC.
If you can show me where they were being cocky, or having big heads I concede my opinion of them, and both my posts but if not, I think you are just hoping for a loss, to motivate them, not bring them back down from the level they were never on; mentally. Which, in my mind, I think it would do no good. If my team was playing lights out football, which they may be doing offensively, but not defensively, I would want a HUGE win over a serious contender, on the road none-the-less.
