Just Win Baby  > Just Win Baby! Message Board  > Watching Some Former Raiders

I don't know how many of you caught it - a really meaningless game between two bad teams on Thursday Night, but the Eagles played the Seahawks tonight and I had a few thoughts.

Tough to see Nnamdi, and even unfortunate still he went down with what looks to be another injury. He was always such a really stand up guy and one of my favorite Raiders. I know we couldn't pay him to keep him, but I'd hoped after all those years playing on some really shitty Raider teams, he finally would get a chance to win. Now, things have continued to turn around for the Raiders, and he ends up on a piece of crap team like the Eagles. Really Too bad.

Zach Miller. Virtually invisible this year, he has a whole 18 catches for 188 yards for the Hawks. I know the money was too good for him to resist, plus his love for the Beater Cable, but didn't he really screw up? He could have Carson Palmer throwing him the rock now instead of Tarvaris "Next year's CFL MVP" Jackson. At least he enjoys his trips to the bank a little more now.

And Robert Gallery - who cares about that piece of ****? Good riddance.

QUOTE(#4):

They are certainly better than the "Dream Team" Eagles, for sure. Maybe Carroll keeps his job if they finish strong.

You have to love that tag - "Dream Team"......and Carroll should be fine for a while longer. If he fails to get a franchise QB soon then he too may be looking for work.

The only ex-Raider in that game that I was rooting for Nmandi as well - such a great baller! That coupled with his give-backs. True role model.

I was really sorry to see Aso go because as crazyalzado said, he was a great player but also did a lot for the community. A true humanitarian. I hated seeing him on the field motionless last night and hope that his injury isn't too severe. Philly has really misused him and it bugs me to hear people say he sucks when he's not playing the position he excelled at.

There are times when I really miss Miller, although Boss and Myers seem to be filling in nicely. It's too bad that Seattle doesn't see what they have in him.

I have to admit though. It does make me chuckle when Gallery gets called for false starts. Don't miss that at all.

All three guys bailed out of Oakland. Of the three I mss seeing Miller playing in the Silver and Black the most. I thought Aso lost a step or two last year and was not blanketing guys like he had in previous years - and he also is getting paid less to wear Green than he would if he had stayed in Oakland. Our O-Line is fine without Gallery.
