NFL  > Philadelphia Eagles  > DeSean Jackson getting raked over the coals....
December 2, 2011, 11:36 AM
Mayock called him out last night for loafing on routes, not turning to look for the ball when was open and he had the "inside route" clear for a long gainer. He caught 4 for 34 with a 20 yarder the longest, leaving the other as 3 for ~15 yards. Not lighting it up. I don't recall him on most if any of the punt returns. Was roasted by Mike and Mike on ESPN this morning, rough post-game questions from reporters last night as well, most he refused to answer. Was called out for "short arming" some passes last week vs. the Patriots.

In my opinion this guy has quit on his team. Seeing him on the sidelines it looked like he wanted to be elsewhere (could be the NFL producer was sure to capture his sullen look as it makes good TV). FOr a guy waiting on a contract at the end of the year he could be playing himself right out of that big money. Will he be any different at his next location. This guy has proved juvenile and immature since he arrived in the league. Pity the organization who pays him big money. In this case I don't think it will be high value product.

I've made my feelings clear about this guy. He is a me-first prima donna with no respect for the team concept. The Eagles would be wise to cut their losses and get rid of him.

Otis,
I think they will but question is who will take a chance on him. I suspect he will still get millions! I think he will be Un-restricted FA.

Agreed
Any team that signs him for big money will be very sorry in the end. What a waste of talent all fouled up with an out-of-control ego.

He never figured things out from the time he showboated in a game against Dallas dropping the ball before crossing the goal line until now. Piece of trash!!!!

The real world is not where this spoiled baby resides. He moaned and groaned wondering why the team gave big bucks to others but not to him. Hello-you are living out your own answer Jackson.Man up and play !

QUOTE(#13):

I saw something about him a few weeks ago, about how he helped a high school kid that was being bullied, that made him seem like a good guy, his actions lately don`t fit with the story I saw about him, I wonder what the truth is behind that. Was it an Eagles PR thing, that just said he was behind it, he sure doesn`t come across as a good guy.

That segment was awesome. What he did for that bullied kid was great. It certainly did not translate into Jackson being a pro or a great team mate

yeah, I don`t see the guy he is on the field, to his team, being the guy that would do that for a kid, but if he did, kudos to him, that was awesome.

He is really doing bad by that kid now. The kid obviously worships Jackson now.Great role model for any kid that wants to grow up as a pouting, selfish , what about me turd.

I guess you dislike him.

OBVIOUSLY I AM NOT ALONE!

Listening to Andy Reid defend him makes you think he's totally delusional. Not to mention a former HC in a month.
