1. Saints
Yes .. I said it. The Saints, in my opinion, are better then the Green Bay Packers. I like everything they're doing on offense, in every dimension. The running game and passing game is extremely efficient. .. This is the most balanced offense in the NFL. The Saints defense is good enough to allow their offense to score enough points to win. The Saints have also beat more impressive teams in a more impressive fashion .. If the Saints fight the Packers in the playoffs, I'm taking the Saints to win.

2. Packers
They're not the best team in my mind but they're still an extraordinary team. I'm a believer in luck and The Packers have had a lot of luck this year. In my opinion, it must play a big factor in order for a perfect season and they've definitely had that this year .. Green Bay does not have that running game though and they've shown that on a consistent basis. They also get a lot of turnovers on defense but when the turnovers don't go their way, the defense struggles.

3. Steelers
Defense is playing lights out, especially these last few games. Offense is getting it done .. Roethlisberger looks his best and the running game is finally picking up. At this point, I think the Steelers look like the best team to represent the AFC in the Superbowl.

4. Ravens
Defense is playing great, but the offense is still playing inconsistent. They still lack an identity and Flacco can't decide if he's a good quarterback or an average one. When Ray Rice is effective the Ravens win games. Take him out of the equation and the whole team struggles. Loses to some of the worst teams in the league put them down on this list.

T-5. Texans
There's nothing scarier then a team that can play through injuries. They're like a monster who's head grows back once you cut it off. They've lost so many great players but they've stepped up. If T.J. Yates can manage this offense, this defense and running game could take this team to an AFC title.

T-5. Patriots
The Patriots offense is playing well, both in the running and passing game. But the defense needs to step up and play better. It will be hard for them to compete with teams like the Texans, Ravens, and Steelers in the playoffs if their offense can't do anything against those great defenses and their defense can't stop their offense because they're always on the field.
