Sandusky was arrested again today. Hauled to jail in a Penn State track suit. He must either think it's sackcloth or a badge of honor.
I saw it. Unbelievable.

Gives new irony to "We Are...Penn State."As to PSU's participation in the so-called TicketCity Bowl vs. Houston 1/2/12: Penn State should play, but also set aside their total proceeds from the game for a victims' fund that would compensate all the recipients of Sandusky's abuse. The money won't erase their pain (that's for life), but it might help mitigate some of the damage done under PSU's watch.
That is a good idea...

Yes.
All bowl revenue is being donated to help victims.

It is at least $2 mil per this article. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2011/12/06/national/a1416 18S80.DTL

No toys-r-us bowl...... sorry.
LMAO!
(apology accepted!)
The current student athletes have nothing to do with the scandalous treachery unfolding in Pennsylvania. Though the University is tainted by allegations, it should not fall upon the students to bear. If they want to go Bowling, let 'em play.

That's what I said several weeks ago. Make the proceeds of the rest of the year (at the time) go to victim's funds. That way they can start the healing process. Of course, they didn't listen to the Smartest Man In America - me.

I just read that they're not jazzed about the destination. Let 'em stay home and WKY can replace them.

Agreed.
I hate the guilty by association mindset.
Penn State's football players, past or present, were not molesting children. They had zero part in it. They were no more aware of it than any of us sitting at home. The current student body wasn't even enrolled when the crimes took place. The blatantly obvious says they had nothing to do with it. Let's not go penalizing the innocent.

Yeah let the students play their bowl game, they worked to get there and this poor excuse for a human being should not do anymore damage to more innocents.
OPEN note to ESPN:
This piece of garbage is guilty, no one has that many accusations against them by accident.
STOP quoting this piece of garbage or his wife, we do not want to hear it.
WIFE? give me a break, how does she not know? She should share a cell with it.
Yes, they should play in a bowl game. Why punish the players for the disgusting acts of a coordinator?

THey aren't jazzed because given their record, they deserved a better bowl and anyone with a brain knows it. We all know why they didn't get one.
And you people get a freaking clue. They HAVE BEEN donating money and plan on donating the money from the bowl to charities and the victims.
AND any PSU fan, student or alum was DISGUSTED by that monster wearing a PSU track suit. Made me sick.
But I still sit here and wear my PSU jammies. The school itself is not the cause of this.
Keep on hating, people. The Red Sox and Syracuse are the latest, and now Hollywood has been founded to harbor pedophiles and child molesters. So keep up with the high and might BS you spew. When it's your team, let's see.
you claim "let's focus on the victims, the kids" yet condemn the current team and supporters, alumni and fans. So let's get real with where the focus of the HATERS are.
Tin, this all wasn't to you....I kinda got started...lol. :)

That was decided a week ago or so.
Also, let's not even get started on what ESPN knew about Syracuse. And the fact that he won't go to jail because of statute of limitations........

I've said this before to people. It's not to defend the wife. But speaking on a psychology and sociology base here....there's things that someone goes through when this is in their life. Denial, shame, guilt, etc.... I don't want to judge wives or what not....it's a whole world of psychological wavelength.
