The Giants will definitely try to spread the Cowboys out with Nicks, Cruz, Manningham, Ballard. I don't have a stake in the game, but will be leaning towards a Cowboy win. My good buddy is a Cowboys fan and since my Eagles will not be making a postseason run...I'd rather cheer with him as long as they are still in it. Hope it is a good game.

I'm hoping the Cowboys give a good effort tomorrow. The playoffs are within reach.

A win by Dallas would stop the madness on TV. The pundits would love another Dallas Swoon, incessant talking from Dieon and Irvin...oh joy. Also a NYG win will breathe new life in them and maybe put off them changing out Coughlin. Sort of like keeping a terminal patient on incessant life-support.

OK, Giants are WAY hurting on defense and injuries abound. If Dallas can't win this at home then they are not a playoff caliber team (truth be told neither of these are). Fiamatta must produce tonight. How goes Fiamatta goes the running game and then it all rolls together.
Time to get it done Dallas, fire up the engine and get some wins here in December

QUOTE(#7):
How can you say neither the 'Boys nor the Giants are playoff caliber teams?By my estimation only GB, NO and SF are better NFC teams, which would indicate that Dallas and NYG are both legitimately contedning for a playoff spot, with Dallas currently in the drivers seat in the NFC East.I wouldn't be surprised if both Dallas and NYG make the playoffs. Actually I'd be surprised if they don't.
Marlin,
The Giants are decimated with injuries. If they lose tonight I see them easily going into a big skid. Jets will be trouble, Skins have a strong Defense. If Giants cash out then a loss tonight might buy them closing 1-3 by just giving up.
Dallas can't find an identity. Look how they struggled vs Skins, Fins, and Cards. Those are very avg teams and they barely beat 2 of them. Forget the anomaly with Garrett's decision. They should have been way up by then.
I'll bet you a virtual dollar that the East sends only one team.
Game time.....c-ya.

I think Dallas has the atalent to win this h=game 40, however, they have to play all 4 quaters with passion and accuracy. The Giants could tip the cart here if Dallas makes their usual coaching mistakes,.
Doc,
If Dallas gets down the Jerry Dome will become a tomb with zero noise, that will start the seeds of doubt; also pumping up the Giants at the same time. Dallas needs to score TDs early and often, no FGs, that keeps the Giants in it. I think the Giants are ready to tip if pushed, they are on a 4 game skid and lots of injuries. Cant' let them "hang around"

Thoughts at end of 1st quarter. Murray High ankle sprain or broken, if latter done for the year. F. Jones can still work.
Defense, Newman still can't catch. Ball will spend the rest of his short NFL career chasing WRs...and watching them catch long balls. Lee and Ware are the only playmakers on the D.
Dallas must establish "some" run or they will not win tonight.

Ratliff is a playmaker. But three is max on that side of the ball.

OK, Ratliff moves over to the good side. Oh and Newman.....you are only beginning to describe it. He is basically there to supervise the catch and then try and make a tackle. The Pick 6 was clearly not in his job description.......good thing he let that one fall.
Oh and don't you think at some point Dallas should go for 2 on the point after? With the safety in there why do they keep going up by 2? A FG beats them right now, go for 2 and you are up by three, miss the 2 pt conversion and you are up by 1...but up by 2 is meaningless. Standard RHG, he probably doesn't use "the card".

It would be funny if you could take the actor who played Newman on Seinfeld and super-impose him on some NFL footage of Newman chasing a WR down the field. Newman was in the first Jurassic Park, maybe he runs in that?
