NFL  > General NFL  > Tim Tebow will have all his fans Tebowing for a win Sunday.....gone need lots more than that..
December 17, 2011, 10:39 PM
Napoleon Bonaparte had his Waterloo and Tim Tebow will have his Tom Brady this Sunday, we will be able to finally see the contrast between an excellent NFL QB and a....well let me take the high road here and say, not so much.

You get the idea, don't you.

Of course you do.

All the flaws will show up like a sore thumb this Sunday against the Patriots.

I honestly feel bad about Sunday, this kid will be embarrassed in front of what may prove to be one of the largest football audiences of the year.

The Tebow mania will soon be over, the media and fan swarm, like locust of biblical times, will move on to their never ending task, seeking their next idol, or better said ..THEIR NEXT VICTIM.

I can only guess who will be their next creation..next....next....nex...ne...n.. ...

Enough said.

I like what Tebow has brought to the NFL (play action with QB running option).
I like what Brady has brought as well (passing spread offense).
Same for Drew Brees (wide open offense).
Same for Michael Vick (west coast offense, with intermediate throws and constant threat of the deep ball, run by a QB who's difficult to contain).

These guys have made a cookie-cutter league interesting to watch again.

The rest? Smh.

At it again huh?

Perseverance = asifyouknow

I hope it is not as you describe, but a competitive game with the Broncos capitalizing on some mistakes by the Patriots...therefore edging out a victory by a small margin. Maybe a last minute Tebowesque drive setting up another field goal to win.

Tebow may be all that and a bag of chips but let's not forget it was Matt Prater's field goal kicks that won those OT games for the Broncos. Here's hoping the Pats are successful in putting up a boatload of points early in the game.

I'm sorry! I was just kidding. Hey, you've made it pretty clear how you feel about the red hoodie, so I think you're good.

I saw a thing about Tebow's pro day (I think that's what they call it) yesterday on ESPN on ABC and saw him throwing to Aaron Hernandez, who is now on the Patriots. I took it as a sign the Pats are going to win. But just in case, I am turning around counter-clockwise while throwing salt over my left shoulder. lol
