Whats going on gentleman? Alot has happened in the MMA world. Bones Jones dominating, JDS beating Cain, Hendo beating Shogun, Fedor gets back on a win streak, Diaz whoops up on BJ (sorry Jimbo), and now GSP/Dana White once again find another way to avoid giving Diaz a Title shot.

So now I have some Questions for 2012

Melendez is still dominating Strikeforce, so when does Dana give him a shot against Frankie Edgar?

Will Diaz get his title shot against GSP this year?

Who wins in the Brock-Overeem fight, and can either of them defeat JDS?

Who has a better chance in beating Bones Jones, Hendo or Rashad?

Anderson Silva? Somebody give me a real opponent for him?

Gegard Mousasi a UFC threat at either 185 or 205? That is if they give him a chance.

Will we see Fedor in the UFC buy the end of 2012?

What say you??????

Sonnen and Munoz winner should fight Hendo for a shot at Silva...Diaz will get the title shot this year...at this point, GSP's knee is the only thing holding it up, not Dana....and Dana didn't pull Diaz from the title fight just to screw Diaz, it was to attempt to force him to comply with the demands of his employer... If you don't show up for work and your boss fires you, it was likely because you didn't show up for work, not because your boss didn't like you...Lesnar vs Overeem is all a matter of the takedown as usual for Lesnar....JDS hasn't defended yet so I wouldn't hesitate to say that either could destroy him just as likely as he could destroy either of them...Rashad has practically no chance outside of a lucky punch of beating Jones....Hendo is the same but he has better strikes and is more likely to actually land something good...Hendo is skill based striking, Evans is luck based...Mousasi had a little trouble with a guy that couldn't even walk straight before the fight started. I wouldn't expect that win to make his stock rise...if anything, such a weak win over such a bad opponent might make his stock fall rather than rise....Fedor has no leverage anymore....If UFC offers him anything, it will likely be such a ridiculously low offer than he might actually turn it down...and the best they'd give him would be him getting beaten down by another HW that is passed their prime and on their way to retirement...the WORST HW in UFC is leagues above Monson...

That is simply not true.

Tim Hauge? Sean McCorckle? Mustapha Al Turk?

Some of these have since been released, but these are all guys the UFC has employed in the last year.

1) He should do it right after the Bendo/ Edgar fight, maybe give Gil a mid-tier UFC fighter to chew on in SF first. There is a market for that fight, people want to see it; whether he deserves the shot or not, we deserve to get to watch it.

2) I hope, assuming that GSP's healing goes well. Should happen by winter 2012.

3) Alistair Overeem. Yes, if he can hit first and toss JDS from the clinch, he can ground and pound him to dust.

4) Hendo. He has better defensive clinch wrestling than does Rashad, and his hands are more powerful, plus he has better power.

5) Jon Jones or Georges St. Pierre

6) Yeah, at 205. He has said that his walk around weight is upwards of 225 now ( if I recall right, this is from when he was saying he was done with 185 when he was supposed to fight Vitor in Affliction.

7) Possible, if he puts together 2-3 good wins, preferably at 205. Which seems less likely seeing how he put on weight for the Monson fight, and it wasn't muscle.

8)Did you miss me?-Hell yes! Welcome back.

So now I have some Questions for 2012

Melendez is still dominating Strikeforce, so when does Dana give him a shot against Frankie Edgar? ~ One, don't worry about Melendez vs Edgar Frankie has a bigger challenge in Bendo

Will Diaz get his title shot against GSP this year? ~ Maybe, if Condit does derail that possibility

Who wins in the Brock-Overeem fight, and can either of them defeat JDS? ~ I give the edge to Ogereem due to experience and Brocks GLARING weakness standing. Ogereem gives JDS a bigger challenge due to his striking but I'd lean toward KDS because he is very technical and Ogereem recently appeared to have trouble defending against Werdums striking

Who has a better chance in beating Bones Jones, Hendo or Rashad? ~ Tuff call. I'll pull for either one though I hate cockmouth evans with a firey passion. I hope to see Hendo do it and if Hendo can tag him clean then the sky is the limit

Anderson Silva? Somebody give me a real opponent for him? ~ Chael Sonnen! If he can avoid the submission he will win. He doesnt respect Silva's standup which is exactly the key to beating Silva. If he can wrestle and not get sub'd he's the best chance at 185

Gegard Mousasi a UFC threat at either 185 or 205? That is if they give him a chance. ~ Gegard looked like such a hot prospect even to fans who only casually follow...for like a minute then King Mo took the title in a fight Gegard won from his back and now he just looks like a middle of the pack fighter...I want to see him vs Hendo...damn it

Will we see Fedor in the UFC buy the end of 2012? ~ NO

I cannot believe Jimbo thinks Overeem TKO's Lesnar in the 1st.

If Overeem is gonna win, it's probably gonna be in the first or second round.

Do you think that Brock possess a cardio advantage over Alistair?

I've been seeing a lot of people voicing that sentiment, which I couldn't disagree with more.

December 24, 2011  08:14 AM ET

Thanks for the opinion guys. I hope myself have an opinion on the topics

I believe we will not get to see Melendez vs Edgar cause Dana White will keep avoid that like a plague.
He would much rather see Melendez fight a top contender and lose then fight the UFC champ and win

Same story holds true for Diaz. I believe Dana will continue to avoid this fight big time and do anything with in his power. Anytime he has a chance like GSP getting hurt he will continue to give Diaz tough competition in the hopes he loses.

I will also take Overeem in this matchup. Brock is in big trouble once again. And then I can't wait to see JDS and Overeem slug it out.

Hendo Flat out has the better chance for one reason and one reason only! He doesn't fight Scared and doesn't fight safe............. ok thats 2 reasons. Rashad should be a figure Skater. He's such a fairy

If you think Anderson Silva is gonna Let Sonnen do what he did again? Hell no!!! Silva will dominate him in their 2nd matchup.

I say give Mousasi a Legit chance at 205 or 185. Personally I think 185 cause he will add more depth and that is needed for the 185 class

December 24, 2011  08:15 AM ET

oh and Fedor will not fight in the UFC ever!!!!!

I think the mods deleted all comments before a certain date, I read Yoda and some others talking about it.

Perhaps someone else can shed more light on the incident.
