NBA  > General NBA  > Pippen Without Jordan? Jordan Without Pippen? The chicken and the egg?
January 27, 2009, 03:44 AM
What do you guys think? Was Scottie Pippen great because of Jordan's presence...or was Pippen that great of a player that he made Jordan that much better? I think it was sort of an opportunistic growth for Pippen. Having the focus on Jordan for scoring and other things, allowed him to mature and develop into the player he was. But 50 best? I'm not too sure about that. It is true that in Jordan's absence Pippen their record was virtually intact, but this takes away from Jordan's greatness too. What do you guys think?
