i have a KNIGHT 460cc XD driver. i am pretty sure it's a cheapy. my buddy has a new BURNER though and i can outdrive myself with the KNIGHT over his BURNER.

so my newb question is..... why? is it a fluke? what advice can you give me about getting a new driver or sticking with the cheapy if it appears to be as effective.

i play softball and i know there is a **** 500% difference in using an old aluminum $30 bat to using a state of the art $320 composite bat. i would assume it's the same in golf, but evidence doesn't appear to show that.
