NFL  > San Diego Chargers  > Hey Norv what's up for next year?
January 6, 2012, 07:45 PM
No team has done less with more as consistently than Norv Turner's Chargers. They do it differently every year - playoff meltdowns, slow starts or this season's almost year-long mediocrity. And the powers that be in San Diego decided the proper response to all of this underachievement was to get the band back together, well, except for the defensive coordinator. He got fired because he obviously had been dragging Norv down.

I was all ready to jump on their bandwagon next year with a new coaching staff coming in etc. Just sad really, Norv is a smart man, just not a head coach.

Guess my cousin in Los Angeles won't have to sit through any Charger home games on TV because they will not sell out, at least he'll be happy.
CBS is forced to show the games as they consider LA a secondary Charger market, like anyone around there cares about football.

The reason for the Chargers slow start was because of the football strike- thats excuse #21 in the Norv Turners book of excuses. What to expect next year- slow start followed by a late season spurt and just barely missing the playoffs, but the fans will only remember the late season spurt.
