I just thought I'd beat Shaman to the punch on this one.

You guys can all post your tribute videos (and some hate filled rants) here.

No rants here. Tough player, great smile. Pittsburgh will have a hard time filling the gap he's gonna leave.

As a UGA fan, I've always loved Hines Ward. Look forward to him being inducted into the HOF.

QUOTE(#3):

He was the best blocking receiver in the game for YEARS - again, those aren't too words you would normally see together.

And this is why I think he'll be a first ballot HOFer. At least he should be. No one else would sacrifice themselves like he did as a WR.

He was also great on "Dancing With the Stars". He could have a good future as a dancer.

Hines Ward and Sterling Sharpe deserve to be in the HOF.

QUOTE(#15):

I'm no Bill Parcells fan, but he said once that Ward plays the game the way it's supposed to be played. Tunch Ilkin says Ward is tougher than woodpecker lips.I know this--Hines Ward is one of the all-time great football players, a Hall of Famer and one hell of a Pittsburgh Steeler. Many have worn the Black 'n Gold proudly, but none more so Hines Ward.

Tougher than woodpecker lips. Love that.
