The likelihood of Manning starting the 2012 season on the Colts became a lot less likely. The Colts were the car that paced the AFC and dominated the AFC South. Now they must take the car back to the shop, find a new Pit Crew Leader to build a new engine and car and get a new driver to drive the car. Andrew Luck, secure that helmet because the next few years are going to be rough.

Manning is done with Indy as I have said before many many times. He will not go else where his legacy is here and he doesn't need the money.

I didn't realize that Manning's doctor suggested he retire.

He should stay on as a QB coach. What a mentor he would be to Luck!
