Seems to be sealed in Reggie McKenzie's expression. Check the 40 minute mark of the presser today - he had a subtle smile at the start of the question and then when McClain's name was mention, the smile disappeared...

Did you all catch the press conference? If not, it's on Raiders.com as is an interview with 1140 the fan. The reporters at the presser don't seem to buy what Allen's selling, but I guess that's understandable with so many new head coaches. One reporter asked why Allen got a 4 year contract and other coaches only got 2 years... Almost like they WANT a new coach ever 2 years or something! Geez.

I do think it's extremely cool that they started the presser with questions from season ticket holders. Respect the nation baby.

a few takeawys from the article i read that covered the presser was that Mac was on the same page with Allen from the get go.

the season tix q&a - now that was a very good call/idea. as to mcclain - i have not read up on everything he did but i can imagine it will go over well with the new regime.

Yeah he said he was one of the guys on his short list. It sounds like Allen feels the team has good players and there won't be too much disruption - except in the areas of need like the secondary. But we'll see.
