Peyton ought to call that manager and suggest he rehire the waiter. He must have done his job very well to receive such a big tip.

What a shame...GnG is right. He must have done a good job to get that kind of tip. I understand company policy and all but come on!! It's not like he was posting EVERY tip he got. Just a really good one from and NFL star...how many people get to say that in their lifetime?!

If I was as wealthy as Manning I could tip someone $200. What's the big deal?

there's many ''frugal'' celebs out there that don't want to part with their millions.

You probably eat at fast food restaurants so you don't have to tip.

That turned out to be bogus. The bill was altered and then it was posted on the internet.

I worked my way through college as a waitress and was always appreciative that someone thought enough of me to leave a generous tip. You seem jealous that he's wealthy.

My daughter is a waitress and bartender (despite having two degrees for those who would demean her for the way she makes her living), and my fiance's daughter is a bartender. They make less than minimum wage and live on tips. They do their job well, but you will always have classless, cheap customers every day. When generous ones come along, you take notice (and pictures sometimes I guess!). I tip 20% at the very least, and often round up ... if service is exceptional, I'll go up to 25%. I can afford it, and these people struggle to make ends meet. Good for Peyton, and that restaurant should be boycotted until they hire that waiter back.

I agree with you Cat, the restaurant should hire that waiter back. It is a tough job and not everyone is good at it so when you have an employee that treats the customers well you reward and not fire that person.
