NBA  > General NBA  > Mike D???Antoni OUT As Head Coach Of the New York Knicks..Carmelo wins the team lost.....good move ...
March 14, 2012, 04:43 PM
It appears to me Coach Mike D???Antoni is out and probably the happiest man in the east coast, out of hells kitchen, now Carmelo can continuo to be the leader of a loosing team.

All this points to the fact that Mr. Carmelo Anthony was not happy with his coach. Here is a quote I found in the Sporting news that should make it clear to all of us what???s going on with the knicks:
??? Anthony is disgruntled, a source told The Post, the star forward decided not to join the team???s huddle during a third-quarter timeout--although Anthony says he sometimes does that when he???s not on the floor???

Fair enough, maybe he does or maybe he doesn???t participate in all timeout huddles, I do know from watching sports that most players, including the last guy on the bench, joins their team during timeouts.

This does remind me of myself as a latino kid playing baseball in the streets of South America, I was the only kid in the neighborhood with a real bat, two gloves and a real hardball, so if I didn't like where I was playing (always wanted to play short) or if I got a bad call I just picked up my stuff and went home.

Carmelo was doing just that by not joining the meeting during the timeout, he was picking up his stuff and going home, figuratively, by the way I WAS 10 YEARS OLD.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, is it a fact that the Knicks were a loosing team when the season started with the -chosen one- Carmelo Anthony, is it a fact that when the -chosen one- Melo got hurt the knicks went into a frenzy of playing an unselfish and fun -winning basketball- and lastly, is it a fact that when Carmelo Anthony came back to the roster the Knicks went back to -clear the floor -for Melo basketball and loosing.

Am I wrong.

Again, please correct me if I'm wrong, was the Carmelo-less team the ones keeping this team close during this loosing streak.

Is than a true or false statement my dear friends.

Folks, this is another clear example of the overindulged, arrogant and self idolizing personalities that are invading the NBA, I would be willing to bet that sooner rather than later fans are going to get fed up with the childish behavior of grown man.

As always this is a fans opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I thank God for that.

Enough said.

I was never sold on D'Antoni cos his teams don't play defence.... Carmelo may have had a point about D'Antoni.....
