Puerto Rican point guard Angel Rodriguez was subject to racial harassment as he went to the foul line in a tournament game against Kansas State.

According to reports members of the University of Southern Mississippi band were chanting "where is your green card"

First let me just tell the students at University of Southern Mississippi that folks born in Puerto Rico are American Citizens, let me say it again, people who are born in Puerto Rico are Americans just like you.

Look it up.

All I can say is that your parents most be proud of the fact they spend all that money on educating ignoramus racist.

Ignoramus is probably not a real word, but hey I'm sure that band does not know any different.

Just saying.

Here is the apology from the president of the University Martha Saunders :

"We deeply regret the remarks made by a few students at today's game, the words of these individuals do not represent the sentiments of our pep band, athletic department or university. We apologize to Mr. Rodriquez and will take quick and appropriate disciplinary action against the students involved in this isolated incident."

Ms. Saunders before you discipline the students please learn how to spell the name of the young man, you wrote RODRIQUEZ THE NAME IS RODRIGUEZ, I'm sure there is a language department there that can help you.

Enough said.
