Eventualy they may name the whole University after him...I guess time will heal all , specially for the ones who did not have their kids abused by the scum he alledgedly protected..........

As much as I admire Joe Paterno I think the child abuse scandal will prevent that from happening.

Agreed. When a guy gets fired over a national scandal it's kind of difficult to name a stadium after him.

wouldn't the school make $$ by selling naming-rights [like nfl-stadiums],......maybe other parts of the school can/will be named after joe [?].

He got what he deserved. He covered up for a MONSTER....period!
There is no way he did not know what was going on, no way...that's a crock of BS.
Pedophiles are the worst of the worst...there are no exceptions. Jo-Pa dropped the ball and continued letting this monster on the campus grounds to avoid tarnishing his legacy.
The statue should be taken down too...its is bad to be a pedophile, and covering up for one is just as bad.

He reported the incident and didn't cover up anything. The University dropped the ball and made Joe the scapegoat.
