This is old, its been known, they just couldn't decide which date was best suited for the rematch. I have Silva in 3 K'O

Apparently it is not official yet...

Sonnen stated he didn't sign on the fight yet.

I am positive it is just so Sonnen can grab more headlines and attention for his book, but I can't wait to see what he'll pull out this time around...

2nd round. Silva knee to Sonnen temple. KO.

I dunno about the fight because I, like everyone else, didn't see the first one going how it did. All I know is that if Sonnen wins this time, he better exit the cage fast before the Brazilians rush the field like it's a soccer riot.

Hoping it's a Silva muay thai massacre.

But fearing that Sonnen will lay 'n pray for 5 rounds.

Silva sub 2. He goes for the ko, knocking Sonnen onto his ass and when Sonnen covers up to avoid getting hit on the ground he leaves himself open for yet another submission.

Alive and kicking brother! The ribs thing I agree with Jim, a little overblown, who knows how bad that was. But the roid thing isn't. Sonnen was on them, medically or otherwise, yet still couldn't beat the Spider. So what's going to happen if he isn't? I bet Brazil tests him as much as they can to make sure he's clean. I also read somewhere (forget where) that Silva wanted to beat him with BJJ to prove a point. You really think Sonnen will be on roids again after getting popped the first time? We all know one thing, Sonnen vs Silva 2 will end all the debate that Silva cracked ribbed played a factor in his performance. If Silva gets smothered again then the first fight will prove that his injury had nothing to do with his performance and was lucky enough to catch Sonnen slipping. But in the other hand if Silva wins by tko in the early rounds and defends the takedowns then it will make Silva that much tougher in the first fight.

Either way I am not missing this fight.

Good to see you back around Cyne. For a while there you were the most solid and consistent thread starter we have seen around these boards. Always finding good topics for interesting conversations.

Like Jim said, he'll have an unfair advantage because of his TRT treatment.

While it would suck to lose Hendo, sports should ban TRT....it should be treated like it's life's way of telling you that you don't belong in that line of work sort of how an low intelligence tells people that they shouldn't be astrophysicists....what's next? we let handicapped participate in the 100m in the Olympics, but since they can't run like everyone else, we'll let them use a Porsche?

Do you have a link for that? As far as i've seen, he stated he would maintain his TRT treatment, but never applied to the Athletic C omission.
