OK, so this scenaro may not be popular what so ever. I think that Bradford is a VERY good QB but he is so fragile that I just see visions of Chad Pennington. I also think Ryan Mallett given the chance can be an All Pro QB. I think the issues with his attitude have been resolved by him dropping to the 4th round and spending 2 years with Belichick. Think about it, if it were not for the questions about his attitude he would have been a top 15 pick.

Mallet's more valuable to the future of the Pats than those draft picks are.

they get a 3rd and 5th for a player that was a 4th round pick and has never played. But if it came down to it, could change the 5th to a 3rd. Then they would get two 3rd round picks for him.

Since when has Belichick ever held onto something because it MAY help him out in a questionable way years to come? Never that I can think of, but I could be wrong. This guy would sell his mother for a 3rd round pick if it helped him win an extra game next year.
I just dont see the Pats holding onto Mallett or even see Mallett just standing around wasting away on the bench for the next 3+ years. The thinking in the club house will be, "we drafted him because he was a good bargin and now we are selling him for more than what we paid". That equals a big win to them.

Look...all it takes is one good hit and you're out of a starting QB. Care to recall what happened to the Pats back in 2008?

Here's the reality of the NFL. Most starting qb's do not stand upright for an entire season. Chances are good that they don't. Belichick is not stupid when it comes to this fact.
